Waystar Studios It is an American film and television production and distribution company based in Los Angeles, California, a subsidiary of Waystar Royco Inc, The company is especially dedicated to producing films and series and previously for the StarGo streaming platform.

History[]

Waystar Studios was founded in 1986 by Logan Roy when he purchased a film studio in Hollywood from the elderly Warren Baker.

Before the events of Succession, Roman Roy was sent to Los Angeles to run Waystar Studios alongside Frank Vernon, In Season 4 After Logan Roy's death, Roman fires Waystar Studios studio head Joy Palmer for financial and production overages on their big tentpole "Kalispitron: Hibernation" sequel and her refusal to cooperate with him as co-CEO over the studio.
