Sarah Snook is an Australian actor. She portrayed Shiv Roy, Logan Roy's youngest children and only daughter, on Succession.

Early life[]
Sarah Ruth Snook[1] was born on December 1, 1987[2], in Adelaide, South Australia, and was raised in Eden Hills. She has two older sisters. Her father was a swimming-pool salesman, while her mother was an aged care provider. They divorced when Snook was a child.[3]
Career[]
Snook showed interest in the performing arts from a young age. After being awarded a scholarship at Scotch College, she attended the National Institute of Dramatic Arts, graduating in 2008 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.[3][4] In the following years, she appeared in several stage productions before garnering more attention from a series of Australian films: Sisters of War (2010), Not Suitable for Children (2012), These Final Hours (2013), and Predestination (2014). She also appeared in the American films Steve Jobs and The Glass Castle in 2016 and 2017, respectively.
In 2016, she was cast as the savvy Shiv Roy in HBO's Succession. For this role, Snook has been nominated for three Primetime Emmy Awards, winning one[5], and won two Golden Globe Awards.[6][7]
Personal life[]
Snook began dating Australian comedian Dave Lawson in 2020, and they were married the next year. In May 2023, they welcomed their first child, a daughter.[8]
