Iverson Roy is the son of Kendall and Rava Roy, and younger brother of Sophie Roy. He is portrayed by Quentin Morales.

History[]

Early life[]

Roman implies in the series finale that Iverson is not Kendall's biological child, by referring to him as "half Rava, half some filing-cabinet guy."[1]

Iverson is likely on the Autism spectrum.

Season 1[]

In "Celebration," the family is preparing for Logan's 80th birthday party. Logan is greeted by his entire family when he comes off the elevator, to which he absentmindedly thanks everyone and introduces Greg Hirsch. He greets all his children and his grandchildren, Sophie and Iverson.

Everyone is enjoying dinner, with Sophie and Iverson sat between their parents, when it's suggested that they have their traditional game of baseball. The family arrives by helicopter to a baseball field where employees have already arrived and are ready for the game. They are divided into teams, but soon their father, Kendall Roy, says he must go back to work and leaves the game prematurely. The game ends and everyone disperses.[2]

At Thanksgiving, Rava and Iverson are seen in another room playing with toys, rather than joining the rest of the family. When asked, Rava tells Logan that "transitions are difficult" for Iverson, referring to his troubles with social situations. Logan mocks Rava and Iverson, muttering "Oh, transitions are difficult now?" before forcing Iverson to join the rest of the family.

Later, the family plays a memory game called "I Went to Market". As a result of his stroke, Logan has trouble remembering each line, therefore losing the game. Logan tries once more, but Iverson insists that Logan has lost and his turn is over, while trying to pry the can of cranberry sauce out of Logan's hands. Logan becomes enraged. Whether accidental or not, Logan hits Iverson in the face with the cranberry sauce to the horror of his parents and the dinner party as a whole.[3]

Iverson was also seen at Tom and Shiv's wedding. Unaware that it was his son on the other side of the door, Kendall angrily shouted for whoever was knocking to go away. Hurt, Iverson retreated despite his dad's sincere apology.

Season 2[]

Everyone is at Waystar Royco celebrating Sophie's birthday, including her new cousin Greg. Sophie, along with her brother and some friends, have the entire park to themselves. Her grandfather, Logan, had decided to have it cleared out for them. Sophie asks her dad if they can make the ride go faster, and once a park employee confirms it can, he gives them the green light to do so while the adults stand around and talk.[4]

Season 3[]

Kendall is having dinner with Logan, for which Kendall prepared the food himself, adhering to Logan's dietary restrictions. Logan is untrusting of Kendall and calls in Iverson to test the food for him, implying he wouldn't mind sacrificing his grandson if it had been poisoned. Iverson complies. After Iverson leaves, Logan asks Kendall "Is he getting better?" to which Kendall is offended.[5]
