Colin Stiles is the former body-man of Logan Roy. He is portrayed by Scott Nicholson.
History[]
Season 1[]
The brothers are all trying to run damage control, specifically Ken. They are looking over a possible obituary for their father if he passes that the media wants to know they can air. Gerri Kellman and Karolina Novotney come in to help run damage control and ask who is in charge. They haven't decided on what kind of story to go with, and they need to pick a temporary CEO to tell the media before the stock markets open. They decide to go with the statement that nothing happened, and both Colin and Gerri are on board. But they need to make sure the rest of the family will agree to it as well. They also need to run damage control, as Logan also fired Frank Vernon hours earlier. Eventually, Kendall is offered CEO and Roman becomes COO. They finally get confirmed as all the siblings agree. Logan Roy arrives in Washington to meet with the President, but worries he's been snubbed following a last-minute cancellation at The White House, as the President claims he has an act of terrorism to deal with. [2]
Logan comes down to join everyone at the wedding reception. A waiter asks if he would like more champagne, to which he absentmindedly agrees, but gets champagne poured on his hand and arm. He immediately overreacts and fires the young lad, demanding he is kicked out immediately. Colin is ready and waiting with a pen and paper for him to sign along with a severance package. [3]
Season 2[]
Colin informs Ken about Scotland
Kendall Roy arrives early at the family's cottage in the Hamptons, only to be greeted by a horrible stench. While there, Colin takes him to the laundry room to inform him of what happened with Andrew Dodds. Currently, UK police believe the kid was traveling solo and under the influence. He was also found with his seat belt off but was unable to get out of the car. So far, his death will be ruled as misadventure.[4]
Colin is informed of Kendall Roy shoplifting once again, and takes care of it. Upon hearing gunshot sounds, he immediately whisks Logan Roy away to a very private and secure safe room.[5]
Ken is eventually ushered into the private safe room with his father and Shiv. Once everything is all cleared, Logan sees Rhea off to her car after Colin informs him that the shooter was actually a suicide victim, leaving a note behind that there was bullying at ATN. Logan seems less than interested.[5]
The company's jet is suspended in the air and has been circling for an hour. They, along with many other billionaires are all waiting to land at the same airport. The Roy Family finally arrives at the conference, and soon meet up with Tom and Gregory. They are interrupted, as Colin ushers Logan, Gerri, and Ken into another room. They are informed a magazine has been tipped off about the cruise-line scandal and is going to publish it within 36 to 48 hours. They get on a conference call with Shiv, and all begin discussing what to do. Ken says they go at them hard and fast and lead them into thinking they have nothing and threatening to sue. Shiv thinks they should go for a much less aggressive approach and cooperate with the magazine before they bury them. Logan decides to go with Kenâs idea, and the two agreed they need to get the Pierce family contracts all wrapped up sooner rather than later.[6]
Colin accompanies Logan on his trip to London, England. He is personally present when Logan and Ken take a drive to visit the family of Andrew Dodds. He confirms everything is in order with the media and photographer before Mr. Roy steps out of the car.[7]
Colin accompanies Logan and his family to Dundee, Scotland. He calls Logan away for business while he's been accompanying his wife out of the hotel. He goes with him on the tour of his printing shop and stands by when Mr. Roy runs into his older brother, Ewan Roy. The next day he drives him to his 50th anniversary Gala and even stands watch when his wife had to coax back inside, surprised at seeing well over 200 people at the event.[8]
Logan takes a walk by himself through Central Park, as Colin walks behind him. He later follows him to Court in front of Congress.[9]
