Ashley Zukerman is an Australian-American actor. He portrayed Nate Sofrelli, political advisor and ex-boyfriend of Shiv Roy, on Succession.
Life & career[]
Ashley Zukerman was born on December 30, 1983 in Santa Monica, California, USA. His family moved to Melbourne, Australia when he was 2 years old. His family is Jewish, his father being from Israel and his mother from Peru. His parents also spoke Hebrew throughout his childhood.[1] He attended Wesley College at the Glen Waverley campus and began a degree in Science and Engineering at Monash University before being accepted into the Victorian College of the Arts.
He graduated from the VCA in 2006 and began acting on stage professionally. In 2010, he made his television debut in the HBO miniseries The Pacific. His big break in Australia in the 2008 series Rush. In 2014, he first appeared as Jesse Banks in the Australian political thriller The Code, which amassed both national and international success. He then went on to appear in many other TV shows, as well as films such as Netflix's Fear Street trilogy.
